RGB - a film by Brandon Semenuk and ö Clever
RGB by Brandon Semenuk and ö Clever is instantly one of our all-time favorite mountain bike films. The attention to detail is nothing new for the team at ö Clever, but for a film titled RGB, they sure did pick some of the most aesthetically pleasing spots on earth. Red rocks that look like Mars, a green forest straight out of Star Wars, and a blue, wet, foggy morning to complete the color wheel.
One of our favorite details is the sound design, it makes you feel like you're actually there. You can hear the dirt exploding off a berm, and even Brandon's back tire tapping a tree as he flies by. The riding itself is incredible, ranging from technical tricks to going absolutely massive.
When we talked to the team at ö Clever we had to ask, were they ever scared of filming with Brandon? “It's pretty rare that we're nervous because Brandon is so calculated. He doesn't hit something unless he really knows he's going to stomp it. But the massive step down in RGB, we were hours from the nearest hospital and it was huge, so yeah, we were a little nervous on that one.”
